During testing I thought there were things that ran better with KDM.

Is it necessary to redownload if ISOs were downloaded on day they were released? Excluding the snapshot/s that is.

I've never had my User settings changed when I installed the proprietary nvidia driver. Evidently it can happen. Perhaps the Login as root made a difference. (It should not have of course.)

You can try MX-14.4 or MX-15 also. antiX should run pretty darn well on a dual processor system depending on speed of the processors. 2 GB of memory is plenty for either OS.

I find English that way.

My Atom 270 is 32 bit only. And it's only about 4 to 5 years old.
