The plot thickens. After a reboot, the Tool-tip pop now tells me that there are 528 files in the Trash folder. There seems to be an anomaly in the File Manager behaviour. Have been culling a collection of jpeg files and moving them to Trash. Indeed Indeed. Cleared out the old home partition, re-installed and it all looks as expected.
Now to sort out the printers.

Side panel is OK with me, but..... have just installed MX-14 on to an old Toshiba laptop and it looks entirely different. I too add my congratulations to all. Fast installations without
problems. No obvious operational hassles, and have transferred
all my work from Kubuntu to MX-14. I'm definitely not going to
use Qupzilla.

Downloaded RC2 last week, no problems at all. How far away are we from a final release? I would like to
recommend MX-14 to a group that I moderate, but if final is in view timewise, I would prefer to wait for it.
