Re: MX File Manager - Trash Folder
The plot thickens. After a reboot, the Tool-tip pop now tells me that there are 528 files in the Trash folder. A secondary (right click for most of you) click on a file gives the usual options menu, including Open. However, this does not work as the files are locked out in the Trash folder. Restore ...

MX File Manager - Trash Folder - Resolved but not fixed.
There seems to be an anomaly in the File Manager behaviour. Have been culling a collection of jpeg files and moving them to Trash. Looking at the Trash folder shows me the files, about 600 MB of them. However, a tool-tip pop up on the Trash file Icon says that Trash is empty, folder Properties says ...

Indeed Indeed. Cleared out the old home partition, re-installed and it all looks as expected.
Now to sort out the printers.
Many thanks.

Re: Love new MX-14
Side panel is OK with me, but..... have just installed MX-14 on to an old Toshiba laptop and it looks entirely different. Panel is at the top, there's a group of Tabs at the bottom midscreen, and the mouse is misbehaving. Something(s) are definitely changed from three previous MX installations and I...

Re: Love new MX-14
I too add my congratulations to all. Fast installations without
problems. No obvious operational hassles, and have transferred
all my work from Kubuntu to MX-14. I'm definitely not going to
use Qupzilla.
My thanks for a very good OS.

Re: RC2 feedback
Downloaded RC2 last week, no problems at all. How far away are we from a final release? I would like to
recommend MX-14 to a group that I moderate, but if final is in view timewise, I would prefer to wait for it.
