Try closing the application, then go to Menu - Power / Session and Save Session. Hopefully you'll then boot into a session where it's not running.

Now that everyone has their copy of Vin Stone - Not a Detective, I'll tell you that there is an Easter egg in it for those who read my Green Comet series. No hints, no clues, but it's pretty obvious if you remember the story.
