Re: Bible software very outdated
Tim and I still aren't able to download the Bible modules online with the new versions, but they will install from a local folder.
I was able to install and run the current release of the Windows Xiphos in Wine, but it also would not show any modules for download from the ftp server after a refresh.

Synaptic Package Manager (install) ---> chromium-codecs-ffmpeg & chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra ... or, in your terminal, copy/paste ... sudo apt install chromium-codecs-ffmpeg && chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra ... Ummm...those packages are in the Ubuntu repos, but not in the Debian ones we...

Re: Transmission/Deluge inst problem
Perhaps if you explain why you need the older version, you won't really need it after all. Your problems with compiling a program from source are not unusual. The better way is to get the older debianized source files from snapshot.debian.org and build proper deb packages with it. That way the build...

No doubt you will have to install the ffmpeg codecs for Chromium to watch those mp4 videos. This has been discussed in many threads here for Brave, Opera, Slimjet, and Vivaldi.

Quite a bit to migrate it to GTK+ 3, plus better translations. I asked for it to be moved to main, but it's not there yet.richb wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2019 7:07 amSame here.
