As a test, you could try booting a live USB of MX23-KDE, just to show that it should work out of the box with those Intel graphics on your Optimus hybrid graphics laptop. The Live sessions are sysvinit-only.

The Bookworm kernel is by default the 6.1 series. The 6.0 kernel did have some notable bugs.

Are you sure you have 6.0.18? If so, I suggest you add a stable, supported kernel.
