Re: Experimental isos for testing

[moved details of this post to the antiX Forum, where primary discussion is taking place]

First blush: it looks great! I really like the new theme and icons. I installed it on the test partition of my AAO 722, which went very smoothly. Congratulations on a fine new OS in the offing!

Re: MX themes

Since this topic is not totally obvious, I thought it might help to paste in this post by the venerable ToZ on the Xfce forum: Okay, I'll give this a try but be warned, it will be a long post. Get yourself a cup of coffee or tea and and make yourself comfortable. This is my understanding of themeing...

Re: python question

Cool! Let's test and repackage when time permits. EDIT: works perfectly with MX-14.3 after copying the online Doc to the local directory. Can we force mx-viewer with it, which is what we use for the other Help docs? EDIT2: this change works for the browser choice in MX on lines 736-747: def on_help_...

python question

The application /usr/local/bin/antix2usb.py contains the following declaration (right word?) in lines 53-54: # Help HTML_HELP_FILE = "/usr/share/antiX/FAQ/persistence.html" Because of the new content and format of MX Help document, I wonder if that declaration could be embedded in an if-cl...
