I downloaded the file google-earth-pro-stable_current_amd64.deb from the Google Earth site, and installed it. As a result, not only did the file install, but it also added its repository! About an hour later, I was notified of an update via MX-Updater, just a minor point update, and it went through...

I'm seeing some scuttlebut elsewhere on the web about this keyring thing with chrome/chromium. What some folks are saying is that the prompt gets triggered if you are using autologin. I don't know about that, so I thought I would ask here if anyone is using autologin. I am not using any login. Goog...

also, when booting MX efi, you might want to do an extra

update-grub
after the first boot. I find on my laptop that windows isn't picked up on the EFI install until after I do an update-grub after reboot. No idea why.
