Re: Are there still monthly updated releases?

I was looking for updated monthly release for 64-bit AntiX 17.1, but do not see a link to a June update. Is this still being released? I have a 2 gig dell computer with soldered to motherboard 32 gig hard drive and I wanted to use the latest monthly build (June) in a 16 gig thumb drive to boot and ...

I do have an nvidia card.. how do I do a test upgrade, so it does NADA to my system when completed? (I am not willing to be the guinea pig here ;) )

Code: Select all

apt-get dist-upgrade -s
and post the results. best we can do, unless someone else posts some results first. I suspect it will be fine.

Thanks for the reply but I already know this I was asking about AntiX 17 not MX 17..

Re: Dark theme tweak [solved]

I think I've cracked it. I've just booted and I found that I must have left FF open when I closed down MX as it started automatically on boot. The dark theme tweak was not applied. I closed FF and restarted it. The dark tweak is now applied. Does FF opening at boot up bypass the tweak? ah, yes prob...

Re: [SOLVED] Unable to delete menu item from whisker

the real answer is that the desktop file is apparently provided by a depenency package and not acroread itself. dpkg-query -S AdobeReader.desktop acroread-data: /usr/share/applications/AdobeReader.desktop I'm going to add acroread-data to the removal scheme for adobe-reader, but an apt-get autoremov...

Re: Snapshot w/Intel driver bug

After keying alt+F2, logging in and typing startx that fails with errors. Is this a known problem? I tested a snapshot made without the Int...
