PM spammer

I have never seen this trick before. I received a spam PM today (attached) from this user: http://www.mepislovers.org/member.php?u=13754. There is no report as spam button for PMs as there is for posts, so this is the only way I can think of reporting it.

Compressing an attachment in KMail

I never noticed this before, but it saves a bunch of keystrokes and time so I thought I would mention it here. In M 8.5, when you add an attachment to an email in KMail, there is a small checkbox to the right of the file in the attachment window called "Compress." One click, and KMail zips it up and...

Since the old site was not backed up, MepisItalia would have to be rebuilt, probably starting with the cache from WayBack which we have secured. Please note that we can not do this for the Italian MEPIS Community, so if someone is willing to work on this, contact peregrine with a PM about how to pro...

Well, I think it's nice to see you here! Is that what you meant?

That's kind of what I figured, but it's not important.

EDIT: worked fine after I logged out and back in, realized I had changed the menu

Downloaded and installed fine, works from menu (had it there already) without problem though not in KRunner (it identifies the correct app from typing in "rkw" but does not load it). Thanks for making it available.

In theory, Warren tries to go by the year of release.

After a long time of fiddling with various issues, I have finally edited my GRUB and made MEPIS 8.5 (64-bit) the default OS. That means the wife is using it now, too  Excellent, welcome to the circus! Now waiting for MEPIS 10....;) That will be frustrating, since the next version is supposed ...

The point realitykid is trying to make seems valid to me. The CR system is great, and has kept me with MEPIS, but it is not obvious how or when to use it. I would like to see somebody--maybe the Packaging Team--review and hopefully improve the current setup from the perspective of the new user for M...
