Strange, since Mint reports have shown for a long time that it just works OOTB, including the multimedia keys. You could consider downgrading the kernel, I suppose. Please post the results of clicking "Quick System Info" using the code tags.

The building was already in poor shape, with cracks in the upper parts. I only hope the pompiers can save the rose window perhaps, since the fire started in the East end.

So, I do copy link in Thunderbird and paste in Firefox.
That's what I do too. When I said the problem was not in FF, that was because I tried it with Opera without change. Didn't try Midori.

The problem is in TB, since I have it and switching which browser is the default make no difference whatsoever. I have yet to find out why the same TB version on my personal machine works fine, while the one on my production one does not. Now that you've posted this, I will go back to sleuthing arou...
