Re: Request MX-23: Qalculate! (latest version)
Since debian hasn't tackled 5.0 yet, bookworm is stuck at 4.5 and MX is still at 4.7 I decided to first backport 4.9 from Trixie before trying 5.0. So 4.9 versions of qalc, qalculate-gtk, qalculate-qt, and libqalculate are available in the MX-23 & MX-21 Test repositories. Please try these out so...

Re: Does this php issue apply to MX Linux? [Solved]
If you run a web server on MX with php installed and have a php program in a web accessible directory that doesn't sanitize its inputs to only allow valid data then yes, that exploit could be used against you. And there's nothing the MX devs can do to prevent you from setting up that scenario. But M...

Re: Help me choose the version [Solved]
MX runs quite well with half that and is still very usable with 4GB. IIRC, you can instal! It with 2GB though the user experience with 2GB is less than ideal to say the least.

Re: Help me choose the version [Solved]
The standard xfce version. An A8 build will have nothing new enough to need the AHS version and will feel more responsive than the KDE version. For most people using the fluxbox version will feel less familiar so it will have more of a learning curve but it's very responsive and works well once you ...

Re: Help me choose the version [Solved]
Yes, MX will install fine with 2 cores. The A8-8650В you mention has 4 cores so I don't know why you ask about 2.
In fact my wife's computer, running MX-23 well, has an A10-5800k which is just slightly faster than your A8. Your A8 is more energy efficient though.

Re: LTS Kernel, Can I get it and How? [Solved]
In a recent post that showed your QSI you had kernel 6.1.0-17. That's an LTS kernel, but not the latest version of it, which is 6.1.0-20. That makes me think you probably don't have the linux-image-amd64 and the related linux-headers-amd64 meta packages installed. If you install those you will get t...

xfce4-notes 1.11.0 (and its plugin) are now available in the MX-23 Test repository.
As with any package in Test, please leave feedback if you try it.

Re: 3 pkgs in arm64
@Jerry3904 I just uploaded arm64 xfce4-notes packages to main. You may notice they are marked mx21. We just added that package to the MX-23 repo at the beginning of MX-23 development and never updated it.
XFCE4 did recently update it so that's on the to do list...
