Re: Changelog for MX packages?

I'm working on getting changelogs retrievable for the main repo packages. There's an etc/apt/apt.conf.d config file fragment that needs to be added to make apt-get changelog work for MX. Synaptic has to be patched to make its changelog retrieval work because they ignore that configuration - I'll be ...

Re: MX repos, what should the antix URI be?

Sorry, I missed the nosystemd in the url. Remove that word & reload. AntiX doesn't use any systemd libraries. MX uses some but under the control of sysvinit for compatibility with things like Network Manager. So antiX has to rebuild some packages to prevent them from bringing in any systems libs. Th...

Re: [solved] Gis Weather not loading for some reason

I can't be certain, but it appears he used developer APIs to access the various weather services that were not intended for production use. When the traffic increased they cut off that access.

Re: Dave server MX 16

The antiX repos are mirrored on all the MX mirrors, so you can replace http://antix.daveserver.info with http://iso.mxrepo.com/antix until daveserver is back up.

Re: Updated Version of fldigi & flrig please?

fldigi 4.0.17 & flrig 1.3.39 are now available for MX-17 in the test repo. I don't have any suitable equipment to test these with, so please leave feedback when you try them.
fldig needs more work to backport for MX-16, and I'm travelling at the moment, but I'll see if I can get it.

Re: Question: MX package requests vs. other distros

I started building packages back in the Mepis 7 days to safely install programs I wanted myself. Then I started sharing them on the MepisLovers Forum. Then, since some of them were fairly popular, I started an unofficial repository to more easily share them. Others started building packages & submit...

Re: REQUEST: QuiteRSS

For now, use the Test repository to update quiterss. When we have enough reports that the new version is working properly the package will be moved into the main repository. Since the package was just built we have no feedback yet.
MX Tools -> Package Installer -> Full App Catalog -> MX Test Repo
