Re: conky-manager2 isn't in repo?

Run a `inxi -r` report.

If any of the mx repos are using "main.mepis-deb.org" urls, it's the problem noted here: viewtopic.php?p=416184#p416184.

Re: Build/Test Thread: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X and MX-16.1

@SwampRabbit, This doesn't apply to you, but I found a easier way to blacklist the radeon driver for my Kabini which can use either the radeon or amdgpu driver. You can skip steps 1 thru 3 that I posted here: https://forum.mxlinux.org/viewtopic.php?p=419718#p419718, and just add the blacklist=radeon...

Re: Build/Test Thread: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X and MX-16.1

...So the newer packages I was able to pull down via the test repo helped to get the AMDGPU driver loaded by default. But still have the Device/bus-ID issue, not sure if that even matters or not. ... I don't think it really matters, I think it's displaying the "Device 67ef" instead of som...

Re: Build/Test Thread: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X and MX-16.1

...Kmathern, thank you for both of your replies, very helpful in verifying some of the issues and helpful in pointing me to troubleshooting. I would be very much interested in knowing what you did to get your APU working, did you have a thread, or keep a list? ... Sorry no thread to point you to, b...

Update: making some good troubleshooting progress 2nd MX-16.1 boot test - Booted using >>> Advanced Options for MX-16 <<< from UEFI menu - Selected "MX-16 No Xorg Config" System boots into XFCE, but the AMDGPU driver still doesn't seem to initate properly. 3rd MX-16.1 boot test - Booted u...

Re: Build/Test Thread: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X and MX-16.1

Well not too much more luck with antiX-17-b2-full from a fresh attempt, but some progress none the less. Did not have to force myself into the console, but from some quick testing, it seems at least part of the problem is that the correct GPU driver is not loading. Going the "failsafe" ro...

Re: whislist: apt-notifier: quit after work??

I''m a long Debian Testing user, but not a developer. I''m using your apt-notifier in my Debian Testing box without problem. This is a 64 bit PC (amd64) and I have installed apt-notifier by downloading from your repo on the web at: http://mxrepo.com/mx/repo/pool/main/a/apt-notifier/. I'm now using ...
