Re: MX-19 Debian Backports [Solved]

kmathern Thank you, but I already tried that and it still doesn't load. I realize that MX19 will be EOL soon and I don't really need anything specific from the Backports Repo. I just happened to go through the Package Installer to see if there would be any interesting upgrades when I found the prob...

Re: MX-19 Debian Backports [Solved]

Looks like they've been moved to archive.debian.org https://archive.debian.org/debian/dists/ I think the url for it would be something like this: deb https://archive.debian.org/debian buster-backports main contrib non-free As a test I added the url to my sources for MX-23 and it loads without errors...

Give @clampett some of the credit too. I adapted/modified a custom action he posted here: viewtopic.php?p=769066#p769066 for mounting isos with udisksctl.

Re: Is there a convenient application to browse the inside of linuxfs file in snapshots? [Solved]

...There is a 'yad' installed by default in MX 23.2, but it's not available for isomount. GUI tool would be highly welcomed here. I started to love snapshots as my main backup tool :exclamation: On my MX23 install I have a Custom action in Thunar to mount the linuxfs squashfs file. https://i.postim...

Re: MX Linux 21 on Beelink miniPC lost audio after update

I'm also using a Beelink mini pc (EQ12) with MX-23. The audio works ok, but I do see the same thing in the Volume Control i.e. Headphones (unplugged) , Line Out (plugged in) Actually it always shows "Line Out (plugged in)" whether it has speakers plugged in, headphones plugged in, or nothi...

Re: Terabyte image for linux

That package is from Debian 8/Jessie which was eol'd several years ago. It's available at archive.debian.org http://archive.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libp/libpng/ http://archive.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libp/libpng/libpng12-0_1.2.50-2+deb8u3_i386.deb It might not be installable on MX-23 though ...

Re: Booting USB-live-System: UIP: Was not able to install 82 packages [Solved]

Speaking of audio-recorder, I see that it's from the mx bookworm testrepo. Were some of the other user installed packages also originally installed from the mx testrepo (possibly with mx-packageinstaller) ? It would present a bit of a problem trying to reinstall them without the testrepo enabled. An...

Re: Why so few preinstalled printer-driver-* packages? [Solved]

oversight really. apparenty there is not a printer-drivers-all-enforce that treats the other printer drivers as depends rather than recommends. I haven't tried it. I wasn't aware of printer-driver-all-enforce, it looks like it's available $ apt-cache policy printer-driver-all-enforce printer-driver...
