Given your comments, unwillingness to find answers in documentation, take advice given and negative attitude toward MX you would be better off finding something else. Why continue to use it if you do not like it?

That is Normal behavior. Navigate to the download folder and clicking on the deb brings up gdebi and click on install.

That is certainly possible. I checked some threads back to 2011 and they show as https. And both those threads, as you indicated, are new and show as https both in Google Chrome and Firefox. Any one else have any ideas?

Not sure We switched to https some time ago and the address links should be preceded as such. I have subscribed to those two threads to test what I will get. Perhaps you can post a test to each so I can see the result in my inbox.
