For the boot menu, I think this would work. You can set up a virtual machine as in VirtualBox and boot to MX. When the boot screen appears, use the arrow key to key down to the next entry. This will pause the boor process and you can take a screenshot using the screenshot tool on the host of the VM ...

In short I do not think so.. MX Tools and the Settings Dialog perform different functions.

As pointed out there are several options. My preferred method is Dropbox on computer and phone. Gives me full access to all pictures and data files and also serves as a backup for my data without messing with cables or having to continually make transfers for new content. Re plymouth. i agree it should not be in this "wrapped" app. A better place would be in mX Tweak and we could develop our own graphics around an MX background. I have plymouth implemented with such a background and a progress bar.

@rover, Your image links do not work, Imgur links do work. I use linked bbcode from their site by copying it directly from the side panel that shows with your image page.
