Re: Guest add-on Virtualbox |

MX ships with the guest modules already built-in, but they are version 5.2.24. You could try updating to the 6.0.6 versions of virtualbox-guest-dkms and virtualbox-guest-utils in MX by using the MX test repo section in the MX Package Installer. The other way is add the virtual guest addition CD tha...

Then they are too small for anyone to look at. In these cases most people use an image service and post a link to t...

@Toku
There is a Forum requirement to limit images to 600x600 px. I have therefore removed the image tags from your post and left the links. If you want an image to appear in a post reduce it to 600x600 px.

There is a requirement of the Forum to limit images to a maximum of 600x600 px. I have resized your image and provided the link to the original. Clicking on the image will show it at 600x600 px

Re: Can I use snapshots as a backup?

Since it makes a copy of your home directory if you tell it to and your root directory, it is a backup of your system. If you have a separate data partition that has to be backed up by other means.

Re: Turn on Compiz, Wallpaper changes..

That is a vital piece of information. Budgie is not the default DE for MX, XFCE is. I have no experience with Budgie so someone else will have to jump in.

Re: Turn on Compiz, Wallpaper changes..

I do not get a wallpaper change with Compiz.
To set a wallpaper right click on the desktop and choose desktop settings. Navigate to the folder where the wallpaper is if not in the default location and pick your wallpaper.
