Mod note: referring to the rules: no politics allowed on this forum. Posts dealing with such have been removed.
Thanks! Also let's keep this focused: do you see any problem installing, any regressions compared to 18.2?

Re: Are MX Snapshots really total?

Yeah, it's not really meant for backup, for example by default we exclude VirtualBox folder because it's typically way too big for a "snapshot" that originally was meant to install on a DVD but even some USB flashdrives are too small. You can examine /etc/mx-snapshot-exclude.list to see what gets ex...

Re: MX-18.3 RC1 Feedback

Well, I for one, I'm glad that the most bug reports are about the color of the icon and the text that needs to go with the manual icon

Re: LibreOffice 6.2?

I can probably answer that quote. Last time LO was updated several settings were changed. Several users complained, myself included
We have LO 6.1.5 in Test, if 6.2 could be built it should also go in Test and not be forced as a upgrade on users.

I saw this post on reddit: Hi all, I'm wondering why LO 6.2 hasn't made it yet to MXLinux (although it's been stable for a while). I checked the testing and backports section of the quick package installer and couldn't find it. I don't want to install from outside the repos; anybody knows why it's n...

Re: MX-18.3 RC1 Feedback

My reason for supporting the manual on the desktop idea is because a lot of users (like me) blow away the Welcome screen first off, without reading, never to be seen again, because they want to get their chops into the new OS. That's a good point, user don't read pop-ups (I wonder why) but if there...

Re: How many people using Windows 10 in here?

Linus Torvalds sold github What?! Linus had no part of github, Linus is the developer of git application, Github is just a web service around the application, the only connection between Linus and Github is that Linus is a user of Github (and not a very happy one)`https://www.wired.com/2012/05/torv...
