So... what did you try to fix it? Did you format it in Window or repartitioned it in Gparted as suggested before? "nothing works" is the most useless thing you can say when you ask for help.

I also suggest using something that's simpler for you.

Dolphin_oracle provided the solution above your post. What's not clear about it?
if you wish to remove mx from the stick, then you can use gparted or the windows partition tools to reformat the stick to something windows can read.

Re: mx linux 17 first-initial impression + few basic questions, first ever boot from usb

what doesn't auto-close? mx-packageinstaller? why would you want it to? YOu might want to install something else for instance. synaptic doesn't open close. in fact, no package installer I know of auto-closes.

Maybe Gdebi installation pop-up? Not sure what OP meant...

Re: March snapshot?

Yes, we are planning for MX-17.1 with a Spectre-patched kernel, it will be early March, so no need for a monthly snapshot.

Re: How to clone or sync two laptops

Not the cloud, but the Internet, there's a solution for syncing two (or more) folders, look into syncthing. It creates a key that you need to use to be able to sync the folders, they claim is very secure (that's how it looks to me too but I won't vouch for anything).

? and remove from the title the "and antiX" part since we cannot discuss it. ? I think the OP should be the only one to change the title of their post (unless is offensive) even that should be used with caution, I saw people remove the title and replace it with "never mind", tha...

Re: About New MXPI installer

I'm a bit worried about apt because it says this: SCRIPT USAGE AND DIFFERENCES FROM OTHER APT TOOLS The apt(8) commandline is designed as an end-user tool and it may change behavior between versions. While it tries not to break backward compatibility this is not guaranteed either if a change seems b...

Oh, well... what can you do. What I'm really looking forward to is season 3 of Expanse.
Star Trek was meh. Somehow I can buy FTL travel, but I have problems with travel on mushroom spores (authors probably did too much shrooms).
