Re: Snapshots

I think you could add in /etc/mx-snapshot.conf this option

Code: Select all

-processors 2
(use 2 or 1 for the number of cores) add it right after the compression so it would look like:

Code: Select all

mksq_opt=-comp xz -processors 2

Re: MX(LX)Qt ??

Ah, OK, I meant inserting them in the post like this (I think it didn't work for you because the imgur link you used was a bit different):

Re: Restoring my USB drive

Sometimes there are hardware problems with USB flashdrives, I don't consider them 100% reliable, not even close.

Re: MX(LX)Qt ??

Images don't show you can use Screenshot to post images on Imgur for example and then link them in post (screenshot programs actually gives you the code)

Re: Can't install MX Workbench 18.3

It's not meant to be installed, that's why I removed the installer. It's in the README.

If you do want something similar installed on disk, you can just get a list of stuff that is listed here over regular MX-17.1: https://github.com/AdrianTM/workbench-d ... install.sh

Re: Microsoft Linux?

That's actually great. It's even better that is Linux and not a variant of BSD because it means MS will contribute back the code to mainline Linux kernel and more people will benefit of this
