Re: Dave server MX 16

Use mx-repo-manager, select another repo, you won't have to wonder what goes where.

Re: Dave server MX 16

Or use mx-repo-manager to pick another mirror (I think it's not obvious there but Dave's mirror is linked to mxrepo.com, if you select any other repo another antiX repo will be populated).

Re: Noob suggestions for sizes of rootfs and homefs?

For home think how much data you'll need to save, that's pretty much your space and your decision 1GB might be enough, root has to account for package updates and new packages you install. 2GB should probably be fine -- again depending on what you want to install.

The change logs are available on the git repos if nothing else.
That's good, but not for regular users who don't even know what a github repo is...

Re: Changelog for MX packages?

All the packages got updated translations, there are no new features. I am not sure about Synaptic, it would be nice to display the log I will have to check with other people who know more about Debian repos and logs.

Re: MX-Cleanup won't run twice

qdirstat is very nice if we get more testing we should move it from test repo to regular mx repo. I like the idea to give people option to use the tool they prefer. I also like ncdu but it's a terminal app that doesn't really fit with the GUI we try to build (it might be a better choice for antiX fo...

Re: World Cup 2018

The Germany-Mexico game was awful. While Mexico did play well, I don't know why Germany even bothered to show up for the game with how poorly they played. That's how it looks when you meet a better team, or a team that has a style that can annihilate your style, sometimes is luck -- I don't count G...

Re: MX-Cleanup won't run twice

That's an interesting tool, I wonder if it's not better to have it installed by default on MX. I'm a bit worried to remove warnings, I guess they serve a purpose...

Re: MX-Cleanup won't run twice

That's a good idea to delete only old files, but isn't /tmp supposed to be cleaned up at reboot, if the computer was not rebooted than even "old" temp file might be somewhat relevant to whatever you run. Not sure... will think about it.
