Re: mx-package-manager (new MX app)

Just a short update about plans, I sent this to translation, once is done I will push it as an update to mx-packageinstaller (and it will remove mx-test-repo-installer, mx-debian-backports-installer and also remove this mx-package-manger because it won't get updates, only mx-packageinstaller will.

Re: Trick: simple server

Trick: simple server

If you need to share something quickly over the internet you can start a quick http server by running: python -m SimpleHTTPServer 8000 (use instead of 8000 whatever port you want to use) This should start a server and share whatever you have in the folder you run it from (so be careful where you run...

Re: German mirror vinzv.de is not accessible

Use this one:

Code: Select all

http://de.mirror.mxlinux.de/packages/mx/repo/

or use MX Repo Manager to select it. I think we changed the URL a while back.

Re: mx-package-manager (new MX app)

I'm not sure, I had the gtk package installed when I switched to MX Test Repo I saw that gtk had an update and the papirus-icon-theme was available to be installed, I installed it and it pull the gtk update with it. From my point it looked as it should, not sure why it didn't show the package as ins...

Re: mx-package-manager (new MX app)

Would it be possible to change the colour of the text on the Popular Applications tab that is used for the sections from the sickly green to plain black please? It has always grated with me! That sounds easy, but I don't have a good solution other than changing to regular text color (black) but at ...

mx-package-manager (new MX app)

Hey all, I rewrote MX-Package-Installer, MX-Test-Installer, MX-Debian-Backports-Installer into one application. I added the feature to remove packages and to manage all the system apps -- however this package is not meant to replace Synaptic, just to provide an alternative and supplement some featur...
