Re: Any Body can help me with this command

I will let somebody who know more about networking respond to this. I think you can use a iptable command to replicate that windows command but again, I'm a bit skeptical of what is doing, it just connects a localhost port to another.

Re: Any Body can help me with this command

That's a certificate warning, even in video is says: 4) In chrome browser open https://127.0.0.1:1585 and accept/proceed/advanced the certificate warning I'm not sure if Chrome allows anymore to go to the site without a certificate (they tighten the security screws release by release). You might wan...

Re: Any Body can help me with this command

I know close to nothing about networking, what is that command supposed to do, create a proxy? I see it links a port from localhost to another port. Do you have a program that needs to access a specific port on localhost? That will probably not be available on Linux. Do you have some documentation a...

Re: Syntax error puzzling me

I think you left a blank between the redirection and ${Trash} you should write 2>>${Trash}

However I don't see the point of redirecting the stderr, there's no stderr for a comparison as far as I know, you should probably just use:

Code: Select all

Re: newer wpa_supplicant

Thanks the package worked but it didn't fix the problem for me, it's probably another issue.

EDIT: OK, the problem was my fault, I was trying to connect on a computer that was exempted from 802.1x

Re: MX-17 Release Candidate 1 - Feedback

newer wpa_supplicant

I'm trying to log in to a 802.1x network using Network Manager in MX17 it fails and the only thing that I found that looks relevant is this bug report
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1465138

It looks like they patched wpa_supplicant, is it possible to get a newer version in Test repo?

Re: MX-17 Release Candidate 1 - Feedback

I haven't needed to test this, but according to a DreamLinux thread: "If zsync is stopped for any reason it can be restarted with the same command-line and will simply reuse any sections already downloaded and keep going until the ISO is complete and checks out with the md5sum." I can con...

Re: MX-17 Release Candidate 1 - Feedback

Try zsync it can use the older file as base and download only the changes, for example to download the 64bit one: zsync -i INPUTFILE http://iso.mxrepo.com/Testing/MX-17/MX-17.RC1_x64.iso.zsync where INPUTFILE can be the last Beta you have, if you have beta3 you can do: zsync -i MX-17.b3_x64.iso http...
