I suppose... but then why have they dallied so long??? ;)
Perhaps they could tolerate MSWindows until W10 arrived with its forced (and frequently botched) upgrades.

So perhaps repackaged binaries for jessie are still in order but AFAIK we're done packaging anything for wheezy.
That would be OK for me. (But it was nice to have Firefox updated for wheezy.)

BTW I do use MX17.1 and like it very much, but it does not see my GPS dongle.

Thanks, Mike! If you're taking votes, I'm not sure I see why you need to do the extra work for Jessie MX
My vote: please continue to support MX15, which I use every day, and if you have time/inclination please also support M12 and MX14.
I still like M12 with its excellent KDE usage.

Re: distrowatch ranking panel is missing

It's all working OK now.
The sponsorship appears to be benign.
Sorry for the overreaction - my paranoia was too active.

What do you mean by that? Do you have a source?
Source is the site itself.

Re: distrowatch ranking panel is missing

Yes, DW seems to have been hijacked by a special-purpose commercial distro called 3CX.
Shocking that DW is letting this happen.

Re: MX15 Firefox Crash

Thanks for the quick reply, Rich.
Actually you were too quick: I was editing my post while you were sending!
The fact is my FF has somehow cured itself although Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin and HTTPS Everywhere are still active.
Beats me how this can have happened, but it did.

[Cured itself]MX15 Firefox Crash

http://www.gov.uk/government/collection ... -east-head
crashes my Firefox.
Firefox ESR, however, gets it quickly and easily.
WTF?

Edit:-
Just clicked on the URL in this post using plain Firefox and it is now working working fine  .
So how did it cure itself?
