Re: looking for help on getting network icon into the system tray/bottom panel

Go into the desktop-session start up file (control center has handy links)and uncomment the wicd lines there. You will then get the icon on the toolbar next login

Re: Make home persistence bigger

Hmmm....we shall have to peer into the remaster scripts. I would think ram size.would not matter for root-static and homefs. The creation routines have already removed the check I think in those cases. So some modication of remaster is probably required. For now, the OP might could utilize the Live-...

Re: Test repo mx grey theme

Keep in mind that whisker doesn't follow panel themes, its treated as a standard app. Some themes, like our mx-greybird for gtk2, define a whisker configuration. And some dark themes look good just because.

Re: wont load drivers on boot anymore

Actually there was no director...

Re: wont load drivers on boot anymore

first make sure your module isn't blacklisted in one of the files under /etc/modprobe.d

then try loading your driver with modprobe as you've been doing, then run

Code: Select all

depmod
and reboot and see if things stick.

Re: wont load drivers on boot anymore

Hello, This is my first post on this forum. Thanks go out to MX Linux Developers, administrators, Hosts,Helpers, etc. I had loaded NDISWRAPPER and then a "Windows" driver for my WiFI to try it out because I would occasionally have connection issues.....Upon Re-booting there was a "Kernel Panic". So...

Re: Test repo mx grey theme

we do not have a mx-greybird theme in our test repo. there is only one in our stable repo. If you are running debian testing repos (not the same as our mx test repo), then I suggest the debian-testing repo version of greybird. our version has not been updated for the later gtk toolkit present in deb...
