Re: How to disable touchpad tapping in antiX 17?

Did you put the option in line with the other options in the file?

I tried it here and it certainly turned off tapping and scrolling.

Otherwise, I guess take it back out.

Re: How to disable touchpad tapping in antiX 17?

Option "TouchpadOff" "2" in the /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/synaptics.conf file, and then log out and log in should do the trick. other options for that switch Switch off the touchpad. Valid values are: 0 Touchpad is enabled 1 Touchpad is switched off 2 Only tapping and scrolling is sw...

Re: How to disable touchpad tapping in antiX 17?

I use syndameon for this.

from the arch wiki:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/To ... ile_typing

For example, to disable tapping and scrolling for 0.5 seconds after each keypress (ignoring modifier keys like Ctrl), use

Code: Select all

$ syndaemon -i 0.5 -t -K -R

Re: Video: MX Linux 17 - Make a live-USB with persistence

I would remake the blue stick, but use a much larger root persistence file. You don't really need a huge home folder, mostly because we also have a "Live-USB Storage" link in the home folder that will access the remainder of the usb stick's storage. So if you have any larger files, like mo...

Re: Video: MX Linux 17 - Make a live-USB with persistence

I'm going to guess that you ran out of room during the update. When persistense files are used, a copy is made of whatever file changed from the original systen linuxfs file to the rootFS file. Meaning if a lot changes, you can fill a persistence file pretty quick during a major update. It's either ...

Re: MX-17: No network with the live system.

can you tell if dbus is running?

Code: Select all

ps -aux |grep dbus

and might as well check udev

Code: Select all

ps -aux |grep udev

Shouldn't LO 6 be coming along shortly?

Re: is mx linux able to be installed or dual-boot with win10 via a <2 gb usb?

The MX iso is approximately 1.3GB. So you will need at least a 2GB stick.

some of the mirrors truncate the file size that is displayed to 1GB, but its actually larger.
