For us Yanks, Duck_and_Cover refers to a series of emergency drills kids did in school during the Cold War. My mother more than once had to hide from the pretend nuclear missiles under her school desk.

Now we do them as "Active Shooter" Drills.

the other thought is that something happened to the .Xauthority file. you could try deleting it.

most other distros are not made like ours. now you see there are differences. your usb is not broke, just likely formatted in a manner windows can't read. you can still view your device in windows with the windows partition tools. but you will not be able to read a mx-live-usb device in a standard w...

@jerry - he can't get that far. and its not a live boot, which is what the manual covers. @tadpole1954 - this just started out of the blue? can you get to a text console (cntrl+alt+f1 at the blinking cursor). if so, you should still be able to login as your regular user. Let us know any error if you...
