We do not package chrome at all. We install from the Google repository

ok account stuff looks ok. by default, the prompt in mx-live-usb-maker to start the burn should be the regular user password. its settable to the root account though (mostly easily in mx-tweak). if you really can't get it to go, you could start mx-live-usb-maker with sudo. sudo mx-live-usb-maker whi...

go into the whisker menu settings and change the entry for the menu editing from MX Menu Editor to menulibre.

I think it well may be the disk space. given the host of errors. it may be more full that the inxi output suggests since both home and / are on btrfs subvolumes. they are reporting very full.
