I think that is the one.

I mentioned here that I used that one in the past with MEPIS but I think it was first called msttcorefonts or something like that. And then the name changed to the one you wrote about.

Yes, thanks Eadwine. I used that often many years ago with MEPIS. I think it has a bunch of fonts in it.

I'm seeking the arial font which I heavily use. There are so many font packages in Synaptic I don't know where I'd find arial.

Kindly tell me.

MXRobo, I figure I did do that. I know that in the installer, I entered in some space a username and a username password and I created a root password. I think I did check the box for autologin but I'm the sole user of my desktop tower computer.
