Re: MX-18 manual not in Manuals link?

Yes, but if you look at the 2nd image it starts at MX-17 and lower, no MX-18.

Re: How many instances of MX Linux (machines) do you run?

3.

Went minimalist a number of years ago - all are Zotac mini's.

One for desktop, one hooked up to hdtv for streaming, one in the room I'm going to use for oil painting once I get around to it

All run great on MX 14 - 17.1, haven't tried 18 beta yet but plan to soon.

Re: Can't play purchased movies - DRM issue? (Solved)

OK I tried purchasing another movie under Youtube and I could play it on MX Linux 17.1 using Google Chrome. Being that Google owns Youtube, I could see the movie I purchased under my library in both Google Play Movies and Youtube Movies. Once you purchase a movie on Youtube, you have a month to star...

Re: Can't play purchased movies - DRM issue?

@ dolphin_oracle: Thanks, I'm not sure if that is available for Canada but I will try to find out.
It appears to only be available as a subscription service like Netflix (which I have and works fine on MX), but not in a one-off movie rental.

Re: Can't play purchased movies - DRM issue?

Thanks Jerry. I spent most of the day researching this but ended up going in circles. Widevine is one of the solutions I tested, but could not get it to work. I'm hoping some video guru has a best practice solution for linux, without having to use a casting solution or having to use another device l...

Can't play purchased movies - DRM issue? (Solved)

I want to have the ability to pay for newly released movies as a rental using a legit streaming service and play it on a MX-17.1 box using my hdtv as the monitor using HDMI connection. I tried last night using Google Play Movies and Cineplex.com (Canada) unsuccessfully. I contacted both using live c...
