From your QSI it looks like neither network adapter has a working driver (VM only?). Perhaps this VM help doc could be useful.

Re: Updater won't run on Orange Pi 5 [Solved]
Xfce4-terminal is already default.
BTW: I tried using a lower (stable) version of nala with no changethen the notifier itself worked and the box changed color but when I clicked the upgrade button on the review screen, again nothing happened. apt list --upgradable works in case that matters.

Thanks. I have xfce4-terminal installed and maybe didn't make it the default (did on the RPi 5), will check.

Re: Updater won't run on Orange Pi 5 [Solved]
EDIT: Spoke too soon. Right-click > Check for updates does not work (had rebooted). Config is correct since copied from MXRPi where it worked. Nala was not installed so I installed but still no action. Is there some other package needed?

That user had 2 sound cards on the system, so I just asked if s/he had tried using MX Select Sound to see if one of them was better than the other. May not be relevant to your case.

Thanks--either file exists. I'll try copying them over from our official RPi version.

Re: Official Raspberry Pi Respin
The recent upgrade changed the kernel to 6.6, which is cool, but it also (once again) restored the RPi splash over the MX one. I created (using dolphin_oracle 's commands) a tiny script that I call RPi_splash_revert to take care of that since, until we have a permanent fix, this will happen over and...

Re: Missing Desktop backgrounds
The install with MXPI would just add the 21 wallpapers, not replace the 23 ones.
