I got myself an openweather.org api key of my own and adapt the weather conkies of zagortenay, or I use the accuweather rss script from teobigusgeekus (THE bunsenlabs conky weather guy).

You are leaving the MX repo enabled on your antiX installation? I recall anti saying once that that was not recommended.

So the problem with GTK 3 isn't its own RAM usage, but that the desktop becomes "Gnomified" and pulls in additional dependencies. Xfce is famous for being modular (KDE isn't) so hopefully Xfce developers keep this modularity with GTK 3. That's what my underlying concern is: Gnomeification :) MX is ...
