Re: MX-17 Beta 2 Feedback

I'm totally not an Apple/iDevice person, but I'm sure the programmers in the Dev Team who came up with the new MX-iDevice-mounter app would like to hear users' feedback on the new app.

Does it work? Fully or partially?

Please let them know!

Re: MX-17 Beta 2 Feedback

I'm having a memory leakage problem (I think) with the MX-Conky app (or featherpad??). Nothing but MX-conky and file manager are opened. When I click on the "edit" button within MX-conky, Featherpad opens the conky script and straight away, the main MX-conky app in the background doesn't g...

Re: The MX-17 conkies

Regarding GeekyTowerLogo, I overlooked the fact that the cpu readings and bar graph should refer to cpu0 (ie, the total usage for all CPU cores), rather than to cpu1, which would only display usage for the 1st core. So the text in line 115 should be: ${color3}CPU: ${color}${cpu cpu0}% ${alignr}${col...

Re: The MX-17 conkies

No worries - I forgot all about characters for other languages!

As long as the version with infini font remains in the collection for those of us whose languages can be displayed by said font, it's not really a problem.

Re: Conky suggestion for MX 17

It would be cool if the conky widgets could just automatically discover the interfaces... I agree. A lot of people go to the help file as a last resort (me included). This thread was started by a video review. If the Conky works in its entirety out of the box then all subsequent video reviews which...

Re: Issue With Adapta Theme in Mx-16.1

These were some of my observations in the non-public Dev Team boards on applying Adapta-Nokto in MX17: In Adapta-Nokto, it's so dark you wouldn't know there is a tab if not for the neon blue indicator light below the tab text. It's very cool, I love the strong colours, and it's great on Gnome, Cinna...

Re: Issue With Adapta Theme in Mx-16.1

The Dev Team discussed and went through this before, in discussing the look of MX17. I myself have also tried Flatplat and Adapta themes in MX16 previously. The problem is this: XFCE is based on gtk2 toolkit, and Debian Jessie (MX16) is compatible with gtk3.14. From the github repos I checked out, A...
