Re: How many people using Windows 10 in here?

since win-10 gets an face-lift every six months, or so,
then at that point, there seems to be another crowd of folks, who are dissatisfied, by that recent update.
& then they do start looking for an alternative - - Hello Linux

Re: Firefox disabling add ons!

on Firefox 66.0.3 - - I've had to remove any add-ons,,
& then re-install them again. .. then they are working A.ok.

NB: didn't perform any of the mentioned 'Fix' either.
NB2: all of those Firefox Data Collection and Use - were already checked & not by myself.

Re: Firefox disabling add ons!

there is an < temporary > Fix that is being put out by the Mozilla Foundation,
but it's still Not Widely available, as yet .. like always, it'll take some time to roll out.

NB: that fix by old_guy - isn't working, either ..

Re: MX Linux 18 Laptop Computer Hung Up With Black Screen

Normally - you would just 'pres any key', but sometimes, that doesn't work. so - you then press the power for for 2-3s, but no longer: - any more, like 5-6s will power-off that machine. it's an Tricky one, for sure, but don't compare it to any Windows Scenario, though, - even though it's an similar ...

Re: how to install thunderbird beta (67 b2)

like using Firefox - - just extract those files:
- then run the Main TB file ..
that's it.

you can place the extracted files anywhere, or just drop them into /user/lib/thunderbird
( I've moved the previous files into /user/lib/thunderbird/OLD )
& then update your sym link, that is on your taskbar.
