I will install again without updating to Kernel 5.1.5 and check/compare /var/log/Xorg.0.log.

Maybe I can spot something...
Since I can recreate the non-graphic screen on boot...

Do you have nvidia drivers installed by any chance? No... I booted from USB flash drive, because I can not get this motherboard back into UEFI mode. I installed in a GPT formatted drive in Legacy. I am running antix b1, and I installed to hard drive, I used package manager to installed GIMP, Google...

Opened and still do not know how to navigate to /var/log/Xorg.0.

Rebooted with usb flash stick and will try to navigate to log...
