try running 'sudo apt update' first...that will update the repos...then run 'sudo apt dist-upgrade'

Something that surprised me is there is an option to download and install the firmware from the Asus site from within the BIOS Tools page. I'm not gusty/trusting enough to go that route. I like to control things as well as I can, not being sure that the on-line option would actually download the co...

Looks like the phone was trying (and failing) to reach an activation server in the service provider network (at Orange or Vodafone, et al).

2nd that, ER. My ASUS Prime X470-Pro required an upgrade to the latest firmware to solve the Ryzen instability...(crashes at idle no matter which kernel I tried.) ...that upgrade allowed me to tweek the Power Supply Control and set it to "Typical Current Idle" and made the problem go away. ...withou...
