What if you try to install something or update via terminal ? Maybe you just reinstall them that way .. (Or maybe ownerships/permissions were changed somehow) Just try: sudo apt update ; sudo apt dist-upgrade -y (You can exclude the -y if you like, to make it pause and ask " Y/N ? " ) Or:...
