Re: Conky CPU temp history graph [solved by using xfce4-hardware-monitor-plugin]

You have a high-end CPU, but it's throttled massively (and thus very energy efficient to boot) and a low-end GPU on a modern board coupled with a gigantic psu. No reason at all to ever look at temps here. No real world scenario that would ever deliver too high temps across the board. Unless you mas...

Re: Hp Printer drivers not working

Installing the drivers for HP printers from outside MXPI (should you want to give it a go) is pretty straight-forward process: Determine the model of your printer Determine the version of the driver available in the repos: apt policy hplip hplip-gui Determine the version required to support your pri...

Re: Movie created with Blender

That was pretty cool. I have no expertise in this area so I don't know if it's good, bad, wonderful, or indifferent.

But, I really, really enjoyed it and I think it was well done!

Thanks for sharing.

Re: Xfce - fully functional mouse

Don't make people guess at what might be your issue. Tell them. That's the best way to get a solution to YOUR particular problem. You gotta help them help you because, in the absence of information to the contrary, most (all?) may assume that if their mouse meets their definition of "fully functiona...

Re: MX Package Installer History

If MXPI uses apt, I would think checking in /var/log/apt/history.log would yield some results.

Re: Microsoft would like to bring Edge to Linux

My 6 year old grandson is always amazed that old films are in B&W... and that they no longer teach that type of writing no one can read. ;) Virginia stopped teaching cursive writing for a year or two. The state recently announced that the teaching of cursive would resume in the next school year. My...

Re: Knowledgebase

@manyroads - I took a quick tour of your knowledgebase site and was impressed with the quality of the content. I do, however, see a potential problem; what I see of your current organization would not seem to be able to scale up to a decently large number of articles. Maybe I'm not seeing the whole ...

Re: MX 17 Repository: The sweethome3d Thread

I've done a little bit of testing and have found what I think might be a problem. The application as a 3d viewer which contains a pointing device (icon) in the upper left corner. When one clicks that pointing device or clicks the window of another application, the 3d view of one's construction disap...

Re: How to adjust the mouse behavior?

Have you tried a different mouse device - just to eliminate the "problem" mouse from consideration?
