Re: A word about Linux supported HP printers

I used that last link to find my current printer back when the old HP died. :) Cool right on! I was looking at a printer for sale on the Facebook marketplace and I checked the HP Linux supported printers list first and it was supported so I bought it! The lady I got it from bought it brand new and ...

A word about Linux supported HP printers

Hi I just wanted to share this with ya'll. If you're having trouble with support and/or issues for your printer, whether it be a Brother, Canon, Epson, Kodak etc, then consider investing in an HP printer instead. HP has Linux support for over 2,000 printers and has the HPLIP drivers/software for Lin...

Re: I thought this would be a nice wallpaper

You can download the MX logo somewhere (can't recall exactly where, someone please advise) and add it to your wallpaper using GIMP. Of course it can't be distributed as an official MX wallpaper if you don't have copyright to the image, but would look nice on your own desktop. I have no idea how to ...

Re: I thought this would be a nice wallpaper

Very nice winter scene. From the Forum Rules, often not followed but we should be more vigilant on complying with this. Any background image or other artwork submissions must include copyright information and explicit permission of the image's original creator to use the image. This includes a dire...

I thought this would be a nice wallpaper

Someone shared this with me on Facebook. Not sure of the source. Thought it would be nice as a wallpaper with the MX logo at the bottom right of the pic. Please delete if not allowed. https://reesephoto.me/category/snow/ COPYRIGHT POLICY All images contained within this blog are COPYRIGHTED, and may...

Re: How to access phone ?

I just have a cheap Straight Talk prepaid Android phone and I use gMTP to connect to it. At first it wasn't recognizing my phone until I figured out that after I select "file transfer" on my phone and then after that, when I went to click on Connect from gMTP, a little prompt popped up on my phone a...

Re: What is the correct file entry to exclude my games in snapshot?

There's several other paths but not sure if they're relevant. Like there's just one that is: usr/games. I apologize but I don't know what a soft link is. I guess I'll just have to do more research. There's bound to be a solution out there somewhere. Thanks anyways!

Try

Code: Select all

usr/share/games/*
Nope that didn't work either. It's still saving the games.

Or try it with no slash at the end either:

Code: Select all

usr/share/games
(or is that what I said the first time?)
Yeah that's what you originally suggested.
