What would be the easiest to play 8 bit games on MX?

I mean without installing retroarch, lakka...etc... Is there an easy setup to play some select SNES, Atari, and C-64 games?
Or is it just better to do it on my Raspberry Pi (easier)?
It's just would very convenient to do it from MX.
Thanks.

If my modem has a firewall already, do I need another one enabled in my OS?
You don't need a firewall at all unless you have any applications which are listening to the ports.
Can you give us an example of these kinds of apps?

Re: Will a snapshot work on any computer?

snapshots have the exact same live system as a regularly released iso. the only "bug" is that the installer might not show up on the desktop on a "personal" snapshot. but its still there, just run from the terminal "sudo -E minstall". I made a snapshot and installed it on another PC without using t...

Re: Update Icon missing

I TimeShifted back to June and found the icon were it used to be. I then updated and it seems fine now.
That was strange.

Re: Update Icon missing

I tried seeing If I had somehow deleted it from the whisker menu, I had a lot of choices to add in the panel, but not that one.
SOmeone once showed me how to reset the entire panel, but I can't remember now :footinmouth:

Update Icon missing

The littler empty (or green) box has been missing for a while.
I tried running it and I got this error:

Code: Select all

Failed to execute command "/usr/bin/apt-notifier-unhide-Icon".
Can anybody help me out?

I did through the cmd line for now, just don't understand where that little icon went to.
