Does it only happen when you boot with systemd?

Back down to an earlier kernel, or try the 6.7-17 Liquorix we now have.

Well, their last release was in 2020 when Bullseye was current, so they have an excuse.

Re: package request: Stremio (or missing dependency)

Libmpv1 was last in Debian 11 Bullseye/MX 21, and has been replaced by libmpv2 in Bookworm/ MX 23. Amd the Bullseye libmpv1 deb is not compatible with MX 23.

It seems they are building Stremio on an older platform or something like that. :frown: :frown:

Re: Plasma 6

I did have an issue with conky in Wayland though. I have experienced some conkies having their display permanently "seared" into the desktop, so even after you kill them they are still on your screen. And they appear to still work! Woe, that's a new feature: a haunted desktop! Maybe you n...

Re: Liquorix Kernel 6.7.10-3 takes ages to shut down

Neither Liquorix (always leading edge) or Debian are doing any further updates of 6.6, as far as I can tell. That 6.7.10-3 Liquorix kernel was their latest as of a couple days ago. Liquorix does have a forum where issues can be reported: https://techpatterns.com/forums/forum-34.html Edit: There's a ...

Re: KDE theme wipes user's files using 'rm -rf'

The KDE store and "get hot new stuff" does have some warnings about it not being vetted, and that it does pose a risk, but...damn. Discover also updates stuff from the store once they are installed, along with system packages---use MX Updater if you want to be safer.

Re: linux kernel 6.1.0.15 causing crashes in mx linux 23.1 flagship Xfce edition?

Please do not tack onto an already solved thread. That kernel has already gone through several updates since then by Debian.

Also, forum rules ask for a QSI with every post about this kind of issue. One thing among many is that it tells us exactly what kernel you have now.
