Just tried to install the flatpack steam app, looks as though it installed OK but will not start from the menu.
This thread is for the newer Flatpak in our testing repo. Questions about flatpak applications and the MX installer should be in their own threads.

MX 17 Repository: The Flatpak Thread

After updating flatpak to 1.0.1 in our main repo to support the new features in MX Package Installer, we now have flatpak 1.0.2 available in our test repository. Changes in 1.0.2 The dbus proxy is now available in a separate git module, xdg-dbus-portal, which is imported into flatpak as a submodule....

Re: MX 17 Repository: The Liquorix Kernel Thread

OK, nvidia-driver 390.77 is ported over from backports to our test repo, so I hope it's now installable.

Re: no wifi after Suspend

Yes, your module is called "wl". My module is "iwlwifi", so I created a new text file called "config" with these contents: SUSPEND_MODULES="iwlwifi" and copied it to /etc/pm/config.d: sudo cp config /etc/pm/config.d So just replace "iwlwifi" with "wl". Make sure you have a newline after the line wit...

Re: MX 17 Repository: The Liquorix Kernel Thread

I'm pretty sure you'll have to install the newer Nvidia driver from backports for a 4.18 kernel until I port it over to the test repo. I know that version builds. The Nvidia-installer makes it pretty easy to install from backports, though.

Re: no wifi after Suspend

Does it work if you click on the network widget in the taskbar, then disconnect and reconnect to the access point? My laptops would have the same sympton--it would say it was connected after the resume, but no bits would come over the connection until I did that. My fix was to add the wi-fi driver m...

Re: Package request - MusE sequencer

Made these changes, and it builds, installs, and runs: * debian/control and rules: build against Qt 5 instead of Qt 4. * Update debian/copyright to 2018. * Disable automatic dbgsym files. * Refresh 1001-buildsystem.patch and 1003-desktop.patch, drop 1002-abs-errors.patch. It should also build on MX ...

Re: Package request - MusE sequencer

The Debian versions are built with Qt 4, and I see their home page mentions Qt 5. Did you build 3.0.2 with Qt 5?
