Re: WINE install failure
I would also try using Repo Man (MX Repo Manager) to switch to another one than the New Zealand repo...that one seems to have given people lots of grief in the past.

Cancel hibernation process with the Backspace key feature
I didn't see this documented in the wiki, but you can abort the hibernation process and return to the desktop just by hitting that key. It's great for me when after I start the process and then think, "Oh, wait a second, I didn't esnagle the henway yet!"

Re: MX 17 Repository: The Virtual Box Thread
You can keep the Oracle repo enabled normally, since the packages stay out of each other's way, but it appears they are having some problems with it. We have 5.2.10 in the test repo now, so you don't need the Oracle one now anyway.

Re: Why no kernel upgrades ?
We don't usually roll newer kernels into a stable release, preferring to stick to the Debian model, but are looking at upgrading to the 4.15.11 kernel automatically. Currently I'm having trouble getting it to rebuild dkms drivers such as the proprietary Nvidia drivers automatically during the upgrad...

Re: woogaloo (beta): GUI for performing hodgepodge system tasks
another feature u may want to consider is 'tmpfs on virtual memory' Already in effect during LiveSession, so would need to check live and conditionally hide. Also, someone would need to draft docs/guidelines/caveats: "do you have sufficient RAM?" Yes, we must be careful with this. Some dv...

Re: MX 15/16 Repository: The YACReader Thread
Hey, thanks! Adding this to my notes right now. I can see now that the OBS also generates changes files, which means that we packagers could re-sign those and use them to send OBS packages to our own repository (not random ones, but ones that the packager had built)

Re: MX 15/16 Repository: The YACReader Thread
I've uploaded a new version that is a bit more complete. Changes so far: - renamed pdfium package to libpdfium - get-orig-source target for pdfium - new upstream release Debhelper and autoreconf errors are low priority for me right now but I noticed that you have a lot of packages at the OBS where ...
