It looks fairly simple to backport, since it's already in Debian testing...

Re: Any success installing PyWal?

I'll take a look at oomox tomorrow.

I'm not sure what to start "wal" in a terminal with, however. If I just use "wal", I get that help message that non-techies won't like at all.

Re: Any success installing PyWal?

I've got a first attempt at a package here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1aNny6fSAUCgbtcpaAM_4WbhpM8TXJ-Cp But I'm going to add a .desktop file so it appears in the menu and starts up in a terminal...and also improve the description to clarify that it's only for GTK-based desktop environments. I...

Re: End of the road.

There was an internal library update from yesterday and this appears to have taken my system down. You can access /var/log/apt/history.log from a live session to see what this mystery update was, and to let us know. Devs, you need to include support for older machines, Its ok if you can just go out...

Re: MX 17 Repository: The 0 A.D. (0ad) Thread

Obviously the pyramid's Atlantean energy collection crystals and distribution beams are causing the wind to blow in different directions on opposite sides of the river, as planned to make transport more efficient. Duh! It's running on my Intel 520 graphics, and has on lower Intel hardware in older v...

Re: I Messed up display brightness

If you shine a very bright flashlight at the screen, can you make out the controls without the backlight? I can do this with my laptop if I turn off the backlight completely and take it out into full sunlight.

Re: Gimp update problem

Good old deb-multimedia causing issues again. Your conflicting lib is being pulled from deb-multimedia. And it's version is such that it's not updating. Yep, looks like it! I guess deb-multimedia considers itself as more of an "alternate source" than a backport and doesn't make it's version numbers...
