Re: Kernel Vunerable?

All four Netflix patches applied cleanly to the MX 4.19.37 kernel to take care of the severe and the two moderate CVEs that Netflix disclosed, so they are rebuilding now.

Re: Stress-Terminal UI update

Those are development commits, and may not result in a stable program. We do have the latest release, as you can see in the repology results. It was released Dec. 1st, 2018, so is not that old--the developer must have forgotten to update the "about" dialog. Is there anything in the commits that make...

Re: No Ethernet on Toshiba NB10-A

Does "rfkill list" show anything about it being blocked?

If your wi-fi connection works well, you can try switching to the standard Debian 4.9 kernel in MX package installer/Kernels to see if that helps.

Re: grub2 vers. 2.04-rc1

As an experiment, builds fail for MX 18 with gcc-6 and the experimental gcc-8 which the original debian config wants, but succeed on a vanilla Buster base. So wait for MX 19 before we go further.

Re: Xfce 4.14-pre

It's the version on the very rough MX 19 alpha... (holds it tantalizingly just out of reach of the common folk)

Re: Wifi device not detected in MX

Does the device have any sort of FCC information on it or on the packaging? I know you're not in the USA, but the manufacturer might have it on it anyway.
