Actually, Fehlix, I would rather remove the packages, than hide them. Updating stuff I don't want was also in my thinking. You understand. MX-17 is terrific...but so much

For an old man like me who wants to just browse. Tools are excellent, tho. And I love the stability. Is there a way to get a minimal install of MX-17? Minus the Office, and Gimp, and a few other things. Or is it best to just edit out the menus and hide things so I won't be tempted to try things out ...
