Re: Switch between different display settings

Thanks, but as I said, there is no need anymore. The normal settings now look good (enough) on the hdpi display. I don't really understand why, but somehow MX Linux has gotten better in automatically adjusting the display settings to the hardware.

Re: Switch between different display settings

Just wanted to let you know that I can't reproduce the problem anymore. I'm not sure if this is because of the new version of MX Linux or because I have switched from persistent USB to installation on USB... but I'm happy. MX Linux looks great on both laptops.

Recoll as custom action in Thunar

I must be doing something wrong (again). Have tried recoll and Recoll and clicking straight to the app itself. Rebooting doesn't help. Nothing works except for cat recoll doesn't use the same parameters as catfish, so you need to remove the parameters. Looking at it, you need to set up a index firs...

NixNote 2.1.0

The new NixNote is now at its stable release 2.1.0. It can be installed as an AppImage but I think it would be good to also add it to the repository, replacing the older version.

Re: Visual Studio Code disappears with every boot

After reinstall all personal setings are intact. So i guess there are no files deleted, only the installation into the os breaks somehow.

Re: Visual Studio Code disappears with every boot

I have root and home persistence. Programs installed with the mx package manager stay after reboot, so this can't be the problem.

Re: Shutdown / Suspend only works the second time

By the way, this problem still persists. Is there a system log or anything that I can consult and maybe find out what the problem is?

Visual Studio Code disappears with every boot

I'm using MX Linux as a persistent live system. I've installed Microsoft Visual Code with the .deb file provided on the official website. It works but after every reboot, the program disappears and I have to install it again. Is there anything I can do about it or should I ask for the software to be...

Re: Update Request: NixNote 2.0.2

Nixnote is not developed any more by the original creator. But there is a fork that is currently at v. 2.1.0-Beta 3:

Maybe this could be added to the Test Repositorium?

Re: Shutdown / Suspend only works the second time

Thanks. Yes, the same problem occurs when using the keyboard. It's also remarcably consistent: It always works with the second try (very seldom the first, never the third).
