Re: Update Request: NixNote 2.0.2

Thanks for your answer. Sorry, I'm quite new to this. I was under the impression that installation of packages from stretch-backports can lead to system instability and should only be done for temporary testing. If this is not the case, then I'll get it from there.

Update Request: NixNote 2.0.2

Hi,

cool that this Evernote tool is part of MX Linux. But the version is already a bit outdated and there have been several bugfixes and new features since then. Would be great if somebody could update that.

Version in MX LInux: 2.0~beta11 (2016-12-28)
Current release: 2.0.2 (2017-09-12)

Re: Switch between different display settings

All of them  Well, I really think that it should be documented for every settings windows where it stores the entered information and how to access the defaults. In this case I am talking about Appearance, Panel and Orage Panel Clock.

Re: Switch between different display settings

Thanks, I also copied the file for the panel. I think it'd be great if there was documentation somewhere about the relationship between configuration windows and files. Like if I click on "Help", that the Wiki page should have something like Settings changed in this window are stored in home/%user%/...

**default configs are in /etc/skel/.config
Thanks, I've found them, didn't know they were hidden files. Could you tell me which of these files contain the information we are talking about and what to do with them to return to the default settings? Sorry for these noob questions... :embarrassed:

Just wanted to get back to my second question: Is there an easy possibility to reset these settings for a fresh start? Delete some configuration files or something?
All defaults for a new user are under /etc/skel.
I can only find the installation file there.

Re: Switch between different display settings

So, what you're wanting is, "remember all my settings on whatever machine I'm on and automatically restore them when I boot on it." That's not what I said. It'd be totally sufficient to have the possibility to safe these settings into profiles / configuration files / scripts so that I can switch be...
