Yes. If they weren't then they probably wouldn't be in the MX stable repo.
I installed the 5.1.11 antiX kernel on my live USB and it appears to work fine.
Thanks!

Re: What init system do you use on MX, the default (sysVinit) or systemd?

I use the default. I am still learning a lot about Linux systems so I'm very much an end user kind of guy at this point. I didn't know I had a choice. I also have no idea what impact my making a choice about this would have on me. I don't know enough about these things to make an informed decision i...

Openbox anyone?

Does anyone have the classic Openbox/tint2 combo going on our beloved MX? I was thinking of giving it a try on my laptop and was wondering if any special care or configuring was required in MX. I’ve also read that it’s possible to use Openbox with the standard Xfce panel. If anyone knows how to get ...

Re: Guidance on Using Repos Safely?

https://mxlinux.org/community-repos/ The nice thing about the MX-package-installer is that you don't have to enable the whole test-repo to install a package from there. So you should be save not to damage your whole system. Hmmm... ok. I'm not trying to do anything too crazy. I just want the latest...

Guidance on Using Repos Safely?

Having accidentally created a FrakenDebian in the past, requiring a nuke-and-pave style reinstall, I am trying to learn from my past mistakes.

Is there somewhere I can read up on safe usage of the various repos that MX Package Installer provides?

Re: Dedoimedo's Best Xfce distro of 2018

MX Linux definitely shows what Xfce can do and just how good it can look, feel, and function. I used to think Xfce was just... kind of plain and boring. MX has definitely changed my mind about that!
