Re: Systemd free MX19?

For a couple of months now I have run ( systemd free) Devuan on my desktop that has been tweaked and twisted to be as close to the look and feel of MX as I could get it. On the standard setup the Board Index takes you to the last post, quick links > active topics will take you to the first post or choice of page number.

Linux Tracker

Link to “Switched to Linux” YouTube video which details the problems he had when down loading MX from the Linux tracker site, which I assume is the same reason for the change of site listed at the top of the page. Again kudos to the MX devs for acting so quickly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEjJ...

Re: Spying Browsers?

After reading through this thread decided to give the Iridium browser a go. Downloaded from MXPI and the browser would not open, then changed the launcher command as per #28 ChrisUK post about no sandboxing. Now the browser would open eventually (after 50 seconds) with a warning about sandboxing. Th...

Re: Conky/FeatherPad (Solved)

Wow that was quick thanks Adrian, will mark as solved plus pleased to see @richb fixed his slightly different error as well. That's a real bug--I believe it's a recent introduction since that worked before! Please report in the Bug Tracker (need to register first)

bugs.mxlinux.org
Done

P.S Don't try to open a Bugzilla account if you have NoScript running in your browser it does not end well:)

Re: Conky/FeatherPad

Thanks for the replies @richb & @gimcrack (like the little video) its obviously not just me so I will raise this in the bugs section.

@jerry3904 I am sure you are correct this was working OK in the recent past.

Conky/FeatherPad (Solved)

If somebody could do a double check for me, to confirm this is occurring on more than just my computer then I will open an account and file it in the bugs section. Open MX Conkey > Edit > FeatherPad opens with blank untitled page > quit page and FeatherPad stays open with conky settings displayed. T...
