I use to partition my disk for an installation in UEFI mode as follows:
EFI system partition (ESP) FAT32 100 MB
/ partition EXT4 25-30 GB
/home partition up to you
swap partition the size of RAM

In the directory where you have stored the appimage open a terminal and run: ./balena* to see if that will launch it. In the same folder where your appimage is stored, open a terminal and run:
replacing some_name with the actual name to see if you can launch it that way.

After issuing the "sudo chown -R ..." command the user has access privileges to ALL files and folders on their partition or drive. Isn't this only valid for Linux filesystem? I have been under the impression that NTFS has no ownership/permission bit to set. I thought permissions for NTFS ...
