Re: Upgrade question

Maybe as another precaution, also install liquorix 5.1.0-8.1 kernel from Test Repo. Modules build fine on that, on my pc. That way if anything goes wrong with one kernel, you have another one you can boot into. On my MX installs, I have the 4.9 Debian stable kernel, the 4.19 that came with MX, and ...

Re: MX 17 Repository: The Backported Debian Kernel Thread

Hello,

I'm switching from Debian 4.9 to MX 4.19 kernel

I'm not able to install MX kernel metapackages (linux-headers-amd64 linux-image-amd64) from test repo, getting an error (see image below):

Re: conflict between MX and Debian linux-headers linux-image packages

Re: conflict between MX and Debian linux-headers linux-image packages

Hello, Since yesterday MX kernel updates, there seems to be a conflict. Some of MX 4.19 kernels updates removed Debian 4.9 kernel packages... I'm not able to reinstall Debian 4.9 kernel: sudo apt-get install linux-image-amd64 -s [sudo] Mot de passe  :  Lecture des listes de paquets... Fait Construct...

Re: How install Dolphin on XFCE

When you choose upload files in web-browser ( for example upload img) what you see Dolphin or Thunar? Not sure but I believe it is an internal XFCE dialog and not a file manager dialog, so not Thunar or Dolphin. So it is not possible to solve this? Why answer only ? Where are people who use MX Linu...

Re: Kernel v 4.14

Hello Stevo, 4.14 and 4.15 MX Kernels are now so outdated. Without security support, I really think it would be wiser to remove them, since MX provides enough kernels choice (4.9, 4.19, Liquorix...). Some distros (like Ubuntu or Deepin) stick to 4.15 kernel. Would it be technically possible to follo...
